Hello, and thank you for deciding to read my staff application.
My name is jcholton. I am applying for the position of moderator on the tekkit server. I know the tekkit server already has a decent amount of moderators, but seeing as there has been an explosion of players, I think it will need more. That is one of the reasons I am applying for moderator.
I am a responsible, mature, proactive, caring and kind individual. Ever since I started playing Tekkit, I have helped out the players there. Netti told me he was starting a Tekkit server and I went over there as soon as i could. That was the second day the server was up. Ever since then, I have been playing on the Tekkit server whenever I can.
I feel like I have had a great experience on the Tekkit server so far. I want to help others have an experience on there that is as good as mine was. I want to keep out greifers and spammers and assist players in whatever they need.
I think I would make a very good moderator on the Tekkit server. Even though I may be younger than many of you, and I do not have very much experience being a moderator, I would like to help out on Tekkit. I would like to deal with players by trying to work something out with them, as opposed to just throwing them a ban.
I have experience with logblock, worldedit, herochat, and various other plugins the server uses. I am able to follow directions, and get to modrequests as soon as I can.
I do not wish to deceive you and my motivation for becoming a moderator is not simply to use (abuse) creative mode.
I use the fourms every day, and post things occasionally. I don't really like to use IRC, but sometimes I am on it. Unfortunatley, my internet has problems with running Tekkit and teamspeak, so I am not able to get on teamspeak every day. However, whenever I can, I try to use teamspeak as much as possible.
Some other information about me: I have my first college credit, and am on a competitive robotics team. I enjoy programming in a wide variety of languages, and like to build things both in Minecraft and in the non-virtual world.

If my age is the only thing you think is infringing on my ability to fill this position to it's greatest potential, I respectfully implore you to reconsider.
