FTB Ultimate Modpack

This plugin clears entities every so many mins.
http://dev.bukkit.or...mods/clearlagg/

I suggest FTB use the modpack Ultimate rather than Mindcrack. I think the packs have more to offer both donator wise and resident. There is a server (which will remain nameless) that has grabbed my attention and have been trying it to see what FTB Ultimate has to offer. It hardly crashes (not saying muttsworld does just pointing out due to how many players they have)and there is no lag with over 130 players and 300 max I do know they focus on FTB so i'm not asking for a 300 player server.. I would rather play on Muttsworld and would be willing to donate for a Ultimate modpack to be tried out.

Again this is just a suggestion and I know it requires a lot of time but I just wanted to give my two cents as it seems more popular than the Mindcrack Server Pack.

Mindcrack has 2 things Ultimate doesn't:

Rei's mini-map(which you can always install separately);

Traincraft.

Ultimate on the other hand add the following Mindcrack doesn't have:

Applied Energistics

AS Update Check Mod

Charge Pads

BiblioCraft

Equivalent Exchange 3

FlatBedrock

ForgeIRC

Gravity Gun (*gleeeeeee*)

Immibis Core

MineFactory Reloaded

Modulare PowerSuits

Mystcraft

NEI Mystcraft Plugins

Nether Ores

Power Converters

PowerCrystals Ore

SecretRooms

Thaumic Bees (!!)

Tubestuff

VoxelMap

Xeno's Reliquary

IF this was to happen here is a list of items as an example:

Banned
MYSTCRAFT - Making worlds should only be available to admins. Honestly I would just remove it as worlds created are unstable and will crash the server.

Mining Lasers – Griefing
Gravity Guns – Griefing
Nukes and dynamite – Griefing
Placement of TNT and iTNT – Griefing
Wand of Excavation – Griefing
Wand of Frost – Griefing
Wrath Ignitor – Griefing
Canvas Bags – Duplication
Disabled:
Powersuits – Connection Issues
Hunter Handgun – Bugged (Temp)
Mystcraft Descriptive Books – Donator Perk
MFFS – Under Test
World Anchors – Chunk loader replacement
Xycraft Fab. – test
Portal Guns – Donator Perk
Powersuits - Connection Issues

P.P.S

Also Cameo Blocks and one way blocks cause problems and should be removed as they cause chunks to become problematic and crash clients. Examples of disabled items:

at com.github.AbrarSyed.SecretRooms.common.BlockOneWay.b(BlockOneWay.java:129)
at bbb.q(RenderBlocks.java:4206)
at com.github.AbrarSyed.SecretRooms.client.CamoRenderer.renderOneSideCamo(CamoRenderer.java:116)
at com.github.AbrarSyed.SecretRooms.client.CamoRenderer.renderFullCamo(CamoRenderer.java:326)
at com.github.AbrarSyed.SecretRooms.client.CamoRenderer.renderWorldBlock(CamoRenderer.java:68)

Thanks for your time

-nrokin

Mail

The ability to mail players who are offline at that moment would be a great addition to mumblechat. The command to mail someone could be
/mail {player} {message}
When someone logs in, along with the time and welcome message, there could be a something like:
You have mail! Type /mail check to view your mail.

When someone does /mail check they would be brought to a page with a list of messages they got, in date order with the player who sent it and a small blurb of the message, Example:

#1 3/7/2013 19:32:12 CST Thunderblz00: Hi how are you doing? I wanted to let you...
#2 3/7/2013 12:43:09 CST Ibrahimkhan1212: I send myself mail! YAY. Well hi I...

Type /mail {mail number} to view full message.
Type /mail delete {mail number} to delete a message.
Type /mail replay {mail number} {message} to reply to a message
Type /mail write (player} {message} to send a mail.

And so on. This would make it much easier to contact players that are not online, especially if the people you are friends with are in different timezones. Keep in mind that I don't know any coding so I am sorry if this is impossible and makes no sense. Thanks!

Real estate solut...

Whenever I am on the survival server, I see the message, "The staff DOES NOT support the selling of land".
I thought to myself, is there even a group of individuals who would want to get into the real estate game? The answer is sadly, not enough. I believe people's fear of being banned for "griefing" a house they bought from another player has stopped many players from trying to find a good builder. Now, if we had a plugin like the Estate Plugin - http://dev.bukkit.or...er-mods/estate/ - , then maybe some of the older players who have mastered all the mcmmo skills, have made the most impressive houses, and have just gotten bored with survival will have a new perspective on building.

The plugin comes with many Mumblerit friendly permissions/features that will sooth any worries he might have:

-Permissions for how many real estate plots a player can have.
-Permissions for who can buy estates, who can create estates, and general plot protection permissions.
-And configs for tweaking the settings of this plugin to a survival compatible level.

Donation Perks Fo...

Hey what's up Mumble, i couldn't help but notice you were having a hard time with this months server bill and i wanted to suggest some new features for the pvp server. Some of these have nothing to do with donating but i think will improve the server. Im not saying "take all these plugins and add them all to pvp" no, i just want you to take a look at these and see if you think any of them are a good idea.

1. To make the server more noob friendly i was thinking a /kit iron that you can only do once a day. Alot of new players dont like to continue playing on a server if they really dont have any items to start off with but a kit starter. This can have a full iron set and iron sword. Not game breaking at all.

2. GAlistener its a votifier listener plugin that allows you to give anything you want to players for voting. Highly customizable. So you don't actually need a votifier listener just this plugin. Can give XP, Money, Items.
Plus this looks a lot better in my opinion
http://dev.bukkit.or...thing-listener/

3. Diplo's can have an extra /sethome

4. A Diplo Kit

5. Buycraft, That way you don't have to worry about handling every donation. And players will receive their donation perk automatically moments after they bought them.
http://dev.bukkit.or...-mods/buycraft/

6. You already have shops so don't think you would change back to the in-game auction, but I feel that you shouldn't have to buy a shop to be able to have lots of mums. With the auction everybody has a fair chance of selling items.
http://dev.bukkit.or...ods/floauction/

7. A shorter Cooldown for Diplo's.
Oh and by the way, a cooldown for warps like /warp head, /warp tutorial, and /ma spec, /ma join.

8. PvPTimer, New players upon joining have a set amount of time (configurable) that they are immune to pvping. They cannot kit players or be hit unless they do a command and turn off the pvptimer themselves. This prevents new players from joining and instantly dying to others and instantly ragequitting.
http://dev.bukkit.or...-mods/pvptimer/

9. Earn XP in the mob arena.

10. A /warp pvp, Whenever a mod or admin have the time i think it would be a good idea to make a warp pvp for players to go and pvp without too many entities being in the area and causing lag like right outside of spawn.

Tekkit and survival both have a google docs page shared between the ambassadors for them to list mutes and keep track of when and why people are muted, and a decision on how long until they should be unmuted.
/Trust In PVP

At the moment, nobody can trust others to edit inside their claims. Normally this would be fine, except that it prevents any sort of clan wheat/tree/melon/pumpkin/ sugar cane farm, since only the one who placed the claim can actually harvest it. Having /trust would be a nice feature for that reason, or for any clan who has more than one leader that would like to add to or edit their base without completely removing the protection.

Issue: Creation of a Tekkit Sub-forum

Discussion: As the Tekkit server grows larger, there have been requests for a forum in which to post in without incurring the ire of moderators due to posting in the wrong area. As of August 19th, the Tekkit Server looks to be the second most populated Muttsworld server.

Recommendation: Create a Tekkit sub-forum. It should have the following effects.
- Further cements base of followers
- Increase community cohesion by allowing Players a place on the Muttsworld website
- Funnels new Residents into the Muttsworld website, most likely leading to increased donations to support the servers.

Just a simple suggestion. Some brief description of the servers could help the complete noobs visiting the website on deciding which server to join, especially considering the amount of them available. So, let's say on the homepage, if you hover over "Survival.muttsworldmine.com" it shows you some text (i.e. "Player versus environment. Gather food and resources to survive. etc.."); and same for other listed servers.
